1. Disclaimer of liability

Sword fighting, fencing and medieval reenactment as well as other allied subjects of activity are connected with a certain risk of injury. The Company declines all responsibility for any trauma done to oneself or to the third person along with any material or consequential damage incurred during the products usage. We advise that all acts with products or their components have to be performed before a designated person who is accredited to supervise conformance to the standards of the particular club, tournament, festival or another event and is responsible for safety.

2. Returns, refunds, and exchanges

The product can be returned and replaced for the reasons described below:

• Spoilage in production. Presence of a flaw influencing the appearance or obstructing the item’s functional ability (postage expenses are covered by the Company).
• Conflict between requisition titles and articles received (postage expenses are covered by the Company).
• Package loss. The Company is not responsible for package loss or damage in transit to customer, however we will work to resolve the issue with the postal carrier. By your request, your parcel can be insured.
• An item can be refunded if it is returned back in original condition. The item should be shipped back within 14 days of being received. Shipping charges are not refundable.

If the Customer wishes to return a purchased item within 14 days of receiving it, they must ship the item in a resalable, unused condition to the return address and notify the Company by email to contact@dangerousknives.com. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or remake for items returned that are not in a resalable condition. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. In the case of our mistake we will refund after we have received the item back. The refund may take up to seven working days to credit the purchaser's account. Please note, any items with custom modifications and any items from the Closeouts cannot be returned or exchanged.

3. Mismatch

The production of each item includes manual work and actual dimensions of the end product may deviate in the range of several percent. We use realistic photographic shooting without significant post-processing of the photos. Nevertheless, the received item may look slightly different because the transmission of color depends on many factors (including the characteristics of your device display), and the size seen on the image can be deceptive. When evaluating the size, we recommend that you rely on the dimensions indicated instead of the image.

4. Privacy policy

The Company takes a great deal of care in ensuring that information which is obtained about the Customer is treated appropriately and in accordance with data protection regulations. We guarantee that we will never sell your personal information to any third party.

We collect the following information:

• Your name and email as it is provided
• Your orders details as it is provided by you in order form
• Your phone number if it is provided in your order details
• You address as it is stated in your payment or provided by you

We use the information that we collect to:

• Communicate with you about your orders
• Process your order efficiently
• In order to enable the goods to be delivered to you, we have to pass your address (and phone number if provided) to third party postal services
• We contact you regarding our news and offers by email only

We do not transmit our clients' data to any third person unless otherwise required by law or it is necessary to resolve an issue with your order or produce it. The financial information is held only at the servers of payment billing performing companies and is secured in accordance with their internal security policy.

• As you browse dangerousknives.com, advertising cookies will be placed on your browser so that we can understand what you are interested in. Our display advertising partner, Google, then enables us to present you with retargeting advertising on other sites based on your previous interaction with our website.
• When you subscribe to our newsletters our email marketing partner, MailChimp has access to your email and name. MailChimp has TRUSTe's Privacy Seal, which means this privacy policy has been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with their program requirements, including transparency, accountability, and choice related to the collection and use of your Personal Information.
